Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. (Luke 23: 44-46)
Father, what was it like to watch your only Son die a painful and horrible death? At times it is difficult to imagine that Christ’s death could bring about my salvation.
