We carry heavy burdens, even though we’re called to release them to Christ. Yet, time and again, we find ourselves in the same place. It’s just part of our human condition. Epiphany:Visio

Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified.

So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). (John 19:16-17)

Prayer:

Father, how heavy that cross must have been for Jesus.  I am called to take up my own cross and follow Jesus. Help me to remember I do not do this alone, but accompanied and strengthened by Jesus who knows the way.
