There are stages to our pilgrimage, from the initial invitation into pilgrimage all the way to the end of our journey. We can be tempted to say that the pilgrimage ends when we reach our destination, but there’s actually a final stage – the way back home. While this stage can be incredibly disorienting, it also has the possibility to weave our pilgrimage experience into the fabric of our daily lives. The Way Back provides guidance, as well as reflections, practices, and rituals, to support pilgrims as they navigate the pathway from arrival, to return, to integration.

Praise for The Way Back:
A must-read for anyone who wishes to keep their Camino experience alive and thriving.
—Nancy Reynolds, Host of the YOU on the Camino de Santiago podcast
As the scallop shell is a gift at the beginning of the Camino and the Compostela a gift that signifies its completion, The Way Back is the gift to carry with you as you return—helping you live the journey, long after the walking ends.
—Ronald K. Ottenad, Author of The Good Way and The Ascent to Santiago
Jen, the Writer
I dreamt of being a writer when I was little. All of my favorite heroines – Anne Shirley, Jo March – they were writers. I could never quite find my words though. I’d start story after story, blog after blog, but inevitably the words dried up. Then, I wrote a piece called “Sheltered.” I found my style. I found my voice. I found my words. I discovered, I was a non-fiction writer. I’ve been writing ever since.
